1st - you are not the admin.
2nd - there is no geothermal calculator on this site. There never was one. We have one on another site, but ... (read below)
3nd - The geothermal calculator on the other just does not work yet. No personal data is collected or stored, or sold to anyone. We are working on a completely new calculator which will give you a whole different perspective. You will be able to calculate the cost of the geothermal system, price to install using a professional contractor, ROI, operating costs, etc.
4th - we are not a national contractor. We operate only in Massachusetts. However the purpose of this site is purely informational, and it is aimed to educate homeowners about the benefits of geothermal heating and cooling.

PS, I don't know how your comment got approved, but the any future comments will go through moderation.

Your geothermal calculator does not work - all it does is collects personal information and then you either sell it or use it yourself to try to sell a geothermal system install. I don't believe you are a national wide geothermal installer - therefore I think you sell that personal info.

You make a good point about why geothermal heating and cooling systems are not yet mainstream. They have relatively high upfront costs. However, thanks to the Economic Recovery Act homeowners can receive a 30% federal tax credit by installing a geothermal heat pump system. Also, you mention the expected costs for geothermal heat pumps, but if you want to know the specific costs for your home visit the savings calculator at geothermalgenius.org
